My sister Arushi and I used environmental data to create a musical interpretation of the changes associated with pandemic lockdowns.
Recognition
Our team, The Masked Scales, received the global Most Inspirational award in the 2020 NASA Space Apps COVID-19 Challenge.
Sharing the method
We also shared a data-to-music learning activity through the Raspberry Pi Foundation. The project is part of my broader interest in making scientific information accessible through more than one medium.
Project documentation
An original data-sonification artifact will be added when a publication-ready asset is available.
